GRAND PALACE is one of the must see tourist sight for its dazzling architectural beauty. It was built in the year 1782. Since then, it was the Home of the Thai King, Royal Court & Administrative Government Seat for almost 150 years. Enjoy the beauty of Outer Court, Middle Court, Inner Court and Defensive Walls. The Outer Court is also known as Khet Phra Racha Than Chan Nork is situated on the Northwest side of the Palace. Outer Court includes the Bureau of the Royal Household and the Office of His Majesty's Secretary. Middle Court is the largest and it is also the most important court. It is also known as Khet Phra Racha Than Chan Kiang. Middle Court is divided in to Three Groups of Phra Thinang or Throne Halls. The Inner Court is also known as Khet Phra Racha Than Chan Nai is situated on the Southern Side of the Palace. Defensive Walls of this Palace was constructed by King Rama I in the year 1782. There are 12 Gates in the Grand Palace. Also, there are 17 Forts along the walls of the Palace. Other Attractions are the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and Museum of the Emerald Buddha Temple. 

WAT ARUN is also referred locally as WAT CHAENG is located on the West Side of the River Chao Phraya. Wat Arun means The Temple of the Dawn and it is a Buddhist Temple. This temple is in existence since the 17th Century. This religious place is open for visitors every day from 8.30 AM to 05.30 PM. 

KHAOSAN ROAD is a 410 meter long street located in the central part of the tourist city. Khao San Road was constructed by King Rama V during the year 1892. In local language, ''Khaosan'' means ''Milled Rice'', it is named so because, several years back this street was well known for its Rice Market. There are several shops located on the both sides of Khaosan Road selling Handicrafts, Paintings, Clothes, Local Fruits, Unlicensed CD's & DVD's, Used Books, Packer Items and much more. Street will be crowded in the evenings and you can see many street vendors selling exotic snacks and ping pong shows. There are also several Cafes and Bars in this place. Thai New Year Festival is celebrated here with great enthusiasm every year by the local people. 

WAT PHRA KAEW, popularly known as the TEMPLE OF THE EMERALD BUDDHA, is a most sacred Buddhist Temple. Officially, this place is referred as WAT PHRA SRI RATTANA SATSADARAM. This Buddhist Shrine is located within the Grand Palace Complex. The statue of the Lord Buddha is in the Meditating Position Style. This was built by King Rama I during the year 1782. Strict dress code is followed for the visitors entering this divine place. 12 Open Pavilions are there around the Wat Phra Kaew Complex. Other attractions are the Model of Angkot Wat, the Library, A Hermit's Bronze Image, Eight Towers and Elephant Statues. 

THE SAFARI WORLD attracts lots of tourists round the year. There are two parks in this amusement wonder world namely Marine Park and Safari Park. Safari World was opened in the year 1988. Zoo spreads across 480 acres of land and Bird Park spreads across 180 acres of land. Safari Park is the home for hundreds of animals from all around the world. Its takes around 45 minutes for a Safari Ride to cover the distance of about 8 kilometers. Tiger and Lion Feeding Shows takes place every day. Marine Park is exclusively for Land, Sea and Air Animals. Main attractions are Jungle Cruise River Ride, Water Flume Ride, Daily Shows, Spy War Action Stunts, Water Skiing, Dolphins, Birds, Sea Lions, Hollywood Cowboy Stunts, Crocodile Gardens, White Tigers, Carp Garden and Tapir Kingdom. MBK CENTER, also known as MAHBOONKRONG, is one of the Largest Shopping Malls and is more popular among the tourists. Its an eight storeyed building having more than 2,000 Shops, Restaurants and Other Service Outlets. MBK Center receives around 100,000 visitors every day. This mega shopping centre is spread across 89,000 square meters of land. Best place to purchase wide range of merchandise like Clothing, Apparel, Cosmetics and Household Goods at decent prices. Also available are the wide range of Arts and Crafts from all over the country. MBK Center is located at Pathumwan Intersection and Opposite Siam Discovery Centre. Its is open from 10.00 AM to 10.00 PM. 

LUMPHINI PARK also known as LUMPINI or LUMPINEE is a 142 acre Park. It is referred as The Green Lung of the City. Many Rare Trees are found in this Green Lung. Playgrounds are available for the kids to play the games of their choice. There is an artificial lake, where the visitors can rent boats. Cycling is permitted between 10 in the morning and 3 in the evening. Other attractions includes Statue of King Rama VI, Bird Watching, Larn Tawan Yim or Smiling Sun Ground, Elder Citizens Club, Home of Hope, BMA Apprentice School, Lumphini Library, Lumphini Youth Centre, Sri Thai Derm Food Center, Lumphini Lake, Buddhist Dharma Activities and Music Festivals. It is located at Rama IV Road, Pathumwan and the nearest MRT Station is Silom or Lumphini. Lumphini Park is open for Visitors from 04.30 AM to 09.00 PM. 

WAT SAKET is also called as WAT SAKET RATCHA WORA MAHA WIHAN is a Buddhist Temple. It is built on The Golden Mount, an artificial hill. One may have to climb around 300 steps to reach the top of the shrine. Climbing the stairs is relatively easy and its better to avoid visit during summer months. Every year, Annual Festival happens during the month of November. Devotees participate in Candle Light Procession from Wat Saket to Phu Khao Thong. Wat Saket is situated between Boriphat Road and Lan Luang Road. 

JIM THOMPSON HOUSE is a tourists favourite Museum located in the central part of the city. Jim Thompson House was built in the year 1959 and was named after a well known Architect, Former Owner and the Designer, Jim Thompson. It is located at Soi Kasemsan 2, Opposite to National Stadium. 

SEA LIFE OCEAN WORLD, earlier known as SIAM OCEAN WORLD is an Aquarium covering around 10,000 square meters of land. This is the home for hundreds of different species enjoying their stay in around 5,000,000 liters of water. Main attractions are Giant Spider Crabs, Giant Pacific Octopus, Stingray Sharks, Jackass Penguins, African Penguins and Star Fishes. Sea Ocean World is located at Basement Floor, Siam Paragon, Siam. It is open from 10 in the morning till 9 in the evening. 

SIAM PARK CITY is a well known Amusement Park. It is also known as SUANSIAM. Siam Park City spreads across around 119 acres of land and one may need to spend an entire day to try the rides and other entertainments. Main Theme Park Attractions are Vortex, Giant Drop, Boomerang, Log Fumes, Top Spin, Si-Am-Tower, Mega Dance, Double Deck Merry Go Round, Twin Dragon, African Adventure, Jurassic Adventure, Dinotopia, Condor, Aladin, Astro Fighter, Trabant, Enterprise, Astro Liner, Monster, Rock & Roll, Tagada Disco, Big Double Shock and Balloon Race. CENTRAL WORLD is one of the Shopping Plazas and it is the 10th Largest Shopping Complex in the World. There are around 500 stores in 187,046 Square Meter Retail Floor Area. There are seven floors full of shops in the Central World Complex. You can get anything at moderate price like Clothing Boutiques, Funky Fashion, High Tech Gadgets, Books, Furniture, Groceries, Beauty Items, Eateries and much more. Other attractions are 100 Restaurants, 15 Cinemas, Kid's Zone and Genius Planet Zone. Central World is located at Ratchaprasong Intersection and Opposite to Gaysorn and Erawan. This place is open between 10.00 AM and 10.00 PM. 

DUSIT ZOO attracts thousands of visitors every day. Dusit Zoo is the Oldest Zoo of Thailand and this Zoo was built by King Rama V. He built this place as his private garden. There are over 1,600 species of Domestic as well as International Animals. One can get to see 330 plus varieties of Mammals, 170 plus varieties of Reptiles and 840 plus varieties of Birds. There is an Animal Hospital with in the Zoo complex. Other major attractions includes Museum and Education centre. Dusit Wild Life Entertainment is located at Rama V Road and it is open from 8 in the morning to 6 in the evening. 

THE SAMUTPRAKARN CROCODILE FARM AND ZOO is an attractive Crocodile Zoo and it is one of the must see picnic entertainment spot. ''Yai'' a Crocodile that measures 19 feet 8 inches long and it weighs 1,114 kilograms is the World Largest Crocodile in terms of Captivity. Apart from Crocodiles, there are Elephants, Lions, Tigers, Monkeys Horses and Hippos. Attractions here are Crocodile Shows and Elephant Shows. In Crocodile Show, well trained performers put their heads and arms inside crocodile mouth and in Elephant Show, the elephants display their skills by walking on Tight Ropes, Rides Skate Boards and Dance. Visitors can spend their time by taking short Elephant Ride, Ride a Train, Take a Ride in a Paddle Boat and Explore the beauty of the Dinosaur Museum. 

SUAN PAKKAD PALACE is an amazing Museum having the treasures of more than 4,000 years old. This Palace was Prince Chumbhotbongs Paribatra's Residence. It got converted in to a world class museum in the year 1952. There are four houses in this historical place. In the First House, one can see Musical Instruments, Rare Drums, Xylophones, Gongs, Fiddles, Metal Discs and Vinyl Records on the ground floor and Ancient Dusty Muskets, Swords, Spears, Portrait of King Rama V and Buddha Images in the first floor. Suan Pakkad is located at 352 - 354, Sri Ayudhya Road. It is open for visitors from 09.00 AM to 04.00 PM.

DREAM WORLD is a Fun Filled and Entertaining World Theme Park and Amusement Park. Dream Park was opened on 12th November 1993 and it spreads across 63 acres of land. There are plenty of entertainments available inside Dream World Plaza, Dream Garden, Fantasy Land and Adventure Land. Dream World Plaza is the path way from the main entrance to park. The path is filled with plenty of Shops and Theme based Fantasy Buildings. Attractions in Dream Garden are Cable Car, Seven Wonders of the World, Speedy Mouse and Bicycle Boat. The Original name is Krungthep mahanakhon Amonrattanakosin Mahinthara Yutthaya Mahadilok Phop Noppharat Ratchathani Burirom Udom Ratchaniwet Mahasathan Amonphiman Awatansathit Sakkathattiya Witsanukamprasit.
